About

Boards, built one at a time

Lazy Robot is a small custom surfboard label on the southern Oregon coast. The focus is simple: well-made boards, shaped by hand. Custom boards are tuned to how you actually surf.

The approach

Every shape has a reason

A board is a set of decisions. Where the wide point sits, how much rocker is in the nose and tail, how the rails are tucked, where the fins go. Each one changes how the board catches, trims, and turns. Those choices get made for your waves and your surfing, not for a spec sheet. That is the part worth caring about, and it is the part that ends up under your feet.

01

Made to order

Nothing mass produced. Each board is shaped for a specific surfer, wave, and feeling, worked out with you first.

02

Shaped by hand

Outline, rocker, foil, and rails are worked by hand and checked by eye, so every curve is there on purpose.

03

Local and small

A southern Oregon coast operation, kept small on purpose so every board gets real attention start to finish.

Why it matters

Shaped with intent

Working by hand means every curve is a choice. Rocker, foil, rails, and fin placement all get decided for a reason, and you feel those decisions once you are up and riding.
