Ding Repair

Cracked a rail, popped a fin box, took a rock to the nose? Get it fixed before water works into the foam. Repairs are done by hand, by the same person who shapes the boards.

What gets fixed

From small dings to full restorations

If it is cracked, cracked open, soft, or snapped, it is worth a look. Most repairs are quick. The important thing is keeping water out of the blank, so the sooner it is patched the better the board holds up.

  • Cracks, pressure dings, and open gashes
  • Nose and tail damage
  • Fin boxes and leash plugs
  • Delamination and waterlogging
  • Snapped boards and bigger restorations
How it works

Drop it by, get it back

01

Send a photo

Message a photo of the damage and where the board is at. That is usually enough to know what it needs.

02

Get a quote

You get an honest estimate on cost and turnaround before any work starts.

03

Repaired by hand

The ding is cleaned out, filled, glassed, and sanded back so it is solid and watertight.

04

Back in the water

Pick it up and go surf. A good repair should outlast the rest of the board.
