By using this website you agree to these terms. Lazy Robot Surfboards ("we," "us") builds and sells custom and one-off surfboards. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.
Orders and quotes
Submitting the inquiry form starts a conversation. It is not a binding order. Board dimensions, construction, finish, price, lead time, and any deposit are confirmed directly with you in writing before work begins. Prices shown for boards listed for sale are subject to availability and may change until an order is confirmed.
Custom boards
Every board is shaped by hand and made to order. Small variations in dimensions, weight, color, and finish are part of a handmade product and are not defects. We will talk through what to expect before building.
Payment, deposits, and cancellations
Deposit, payment, and cancellation terms for custom builds are agreed in writing at the time of order.
Boards listed for sale
Finished boards listed on the For Sale page are sold as shown. Any dings, repairs, or condition notes are described in the listing. We do our best to keep availability current, but a board may sell before a listing is updated.
Safe use and assumption of risk
Surfing and ocean activities carry inherent risks. You are responsible for using equipment safely, within your ability, and in suitable conditions. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of a board or of this website.
Intellectual property
The Lazy Robot name and logo, the board designs, the site content, and the photographs (by Jaymi Heimbuch) are owned by their respective owners and may not be reused without permission.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
